It’s been a decade – a strong 10 years - in the making. Rising from a pile of cigarette butts, plectrums and empty beer cans - and ready to set the world of music on fire - is Alexander Quail.

Born in Dumfries, a picturesque working class town on the south west coast of Scotland, Alexander grew up surrounded by the sounds of Robert Burns and the hustle and bustle of market town life – not to mention the good old Scottish banter echoing from the local job centres.

In 1997 he left his native land set up home in Ontario, Canada, and picked up a guitar leaving his loved ones behind as he embarked on a new journey.
Despite sweating his way through his early live shows in Toronto, Alexander persevered and gained a keen following in his adopted hometown, Port Credit.

With his quirky lyrics, cheeky grin, and folk driven raw roots guitar sound, Quail has become something of a local hero. Now, after spending the last year honing his original material in a one bedroom apartment, he has grabbed the bull by its horns unleashing his heart on his debut record for all to hear.
